I've just started crocheting a scarf for my daughter, and I also want to start a patchwork quilt for her as well.

I've been making a spinning wheel.

Here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9R0RQrMXi4

But now I need to make a drum carder and I've never laid eyes on one of them which makes it more difficult! Can anyone here help?

Thanks! But, of course I have laid cyber eyes on them, but things like:

Just how far apart are those drums?

Is ratio important or just one slow small drum and a fast big one?

And probably questions which I don't even know to ask...

I'm seriously impressed by a spinning wheel!
I've been using up lots of odd pieces of material making bean bags for an elderly group to use for exercise. Good for co-ordination - and good for me - hand sewing is very relaxing! I find my sewing machine makes me grit my teeth!

It's Autumn so my knitting needles are out..I'm still rubbish at knitting but can make small items so I found an incredibly easy wrist warmer pattern which I'm going to adapt into fingerless gloves I think...

Hello! I would ask in a separate thread. You will probably get a lot of help.

Ah, you have done so.
