This is a pike lure in a brown trout pattern ,carved by hand from English walnut.The lure is fitted with 3D holographic eyes ,traditional hook hangers ,long screws and eagle claw size2 treble hooks.the lure is weighted and is a slow sinking jerkbait. i didnt paint the whole body as i wanted the wonderful walnut grain to show in all its glory,the lure has received 7 coats of 'Ronseal diamond hard floor varnish' for durability.The overall length is 7inches.

That looks fabulous - a lovely piece of work. And hours of fun re-varnishing and cleaning it up when the pike get their teeth into it!

it was realy made as a show piece,allthough it is all weighted proprly and would easily do its job.
