Simple way to remember is to knit the names of each chicken on a little woolley hat, thus keeping them warm at the same time

Buy a different coloured chicken for each child and call the chicken the same name. That should help.

Hmm, wouldn't that be a challenge though, you'd have to knit a different shaped hat for each chicken, as they've all got different shaped combs.

Much more sensible would be little visors - keeps the sun out of their eyes when looking for worms and grubs, and it looks the business for their late night poker games.
