Can someone remind me if hens ok eating Swiss/ruby chard? I had an idea that spinach or chard, or perhaps both, are not good for them, but can't remember.

Any other garden veg not suitable for them?

Mine eat it with no problems , Parsnip greens are bad , and I read broadbeans have an enzyme that stops laying .

Mine eat spinach, chard, beetroot plus leaves, apples, bananas, peaches, nectarines, etc plus most things green. Won't touch broad beans but like runner and french beans and grapes plus grapevine leaves. Not given parsnips so can't comment. Not supposed to eat rhubarb leaves or potato leaves.

But they seem to know what's bad for them. Mine free range amongst poisonous plants, i.e. daffodils, grape hyacinths, monkshood, bluebells, etc and just avoid them naturally.
