They were hatched on the 28th of May under a broody hen.

They were kept in a caged enclosure for the first 2 weeks and have been roaming the garden ever since.[/img]

Mine don't seem to be growing that much. I've got them on quail pellets.

I started them on ordinary chick crumb and have only just changed them to ordinary growers pellets in the last week. They also get liberal sprinklings of mixed corn, the occasional broken up fat ball and the odd handful of peanuts when I top up the wild bird feeders. Aside from that, they seem to eat loads of grass and bugs.
