If it isnt already on the site ( if it is can someone tell me where) any chance of a how to section for the forums? I can post topics and replies but have no idea how to put in web links, pics, quotes ect and i think a quick tutorial might help new members to post more. If i am really just the only one not to know how to do this stuff sorry but can someone PM me and tell me how

Most of it's pretty simple, and I don't necessarily know the best ways to do things, so I'll post what I do, then all the techies can have a good laugh, and tell evereyone how to do it properly.

Here we go:
Web links are easiest, just type in the address as normal and the system automatically makes it into a link.
Pics can be done two ways, depending on whether the pic is already on the web somewhere or not. Someone else will have to cover posting web pics, because I don't have any so I've never learnt. The other way is to use pics which are on your computer. Scroll down to the Add an Attachment bit then click on the browse button. This will open a window on your PC which lets you find the file for the image. Once you've found it click on open in the new window then click on the Add Attachment button. There are limits on size and type of attachments permitted. Try not to post huge images please.
To quote from a post click on the quote button in the original post. this will bring you to the post a reply screen with the post you're quoting looking like this: [quote="sean"] blah blah blah[ forward slashquote]. You can delete text from between the two sets of square brackets so as to only quote the relevant bit of text. When you submit your post it will automatically put the quoted text into the format we know and love.
