They've apparently got loads of mini polytunnels and greenhouses, cloches, netting etc coming into stock, and all really cheap. Worth a look I should think

We got the flyer last night, the plant protectors look good, only about �3.75 i think so if they are rubbish it's not great loss.

Just got back from lidl. We get our nappies there as they are the old style pampers at half the price. Bought three ratchet straps for tying the boat down. �1.99 each. I also bought a stretchy tow rope for �2.99 to sacrifice for the hooks on each end (they have securing clips on them) which will be great for the winch on the trailer.

anything for the garden though? I must have a look at their website - if we've got one close, I haven't found it yet! Pity, cos despite their reputation (for cheap rubbish) they have a lot of useful stuff in there!

I love Lidl, I spent 3 years living in Germany and got used to shopping at Lidl and Aldi over there, I really missed it when I came home and gave a huge cheer when they opened up here. I really missed Bratwurst and Frikadellen, it was lovely to buy them again. And no christmas is complete with the marzipan and cherry liquer chocolates. Plus the booze is a lot cheaper

Just to make you jealous Moggins, we've just got back from 3 nights in Cologne. It was our first proper holiday in nearly 3 years - 3 days of eating assorted pig bits and blutwurst and drinking k�lsch. Fantastic! Needless to say, we loaded up on the edible goodies to bring back!

I must try Lidl again, I am absolutely no snob on shopping, Poundstretcher, Poundland, you name the cheap shop I byu and large to there, but Lidl has always struck me as pretty dismal

Judith I am jealous. I'm hoping to save enough money this year that I can hit the christmas markets with the other half. Jema, if you don't like Lidl, do you have an Aldi near you? It's very similar but has a much larger range, I do prefer Aldi and they have just opened one up near us.
