Is it possible to have all page numbers listed above a thread? Instead of having to laboriously click on the next tab again and again and again until that page number comes up.

I don't know because I'm not a techie. But you can cheat by knowing that there are 15 posts to a page and altering the number at the end of the url in your browser accordingly.

I know what you mean, MrO - I find that when searching through a whole forum for a topic I know someone raised, maybe the previous year, and someone else has just asked something similar. Sometimes I use the method Sean suggested - it cuts down some of the page clicks

Can I suggest we have a round of "it would be nice" suggestions site wise that starts in a month or twos time? Not being awkward, but DS is being moved servers in the next 3 weeks and I don't want to make changes either before the move or in the immediate aftermath, so at the moment peoples constructive thoughts on what would be nice are going to seem to be falling on deaf ears.

if we start now, we can all have a massive great fight over it and within a month or 2, those that are left on the forum can be considered the victors and have their ideas implemented.

seriously though, on the forum side it is probably me doing the work and I tend to be pretty single minded, forum ideas need to be concentrated on and talked about with positive engagement by the one who will make it happen, and can hence say NO where something can't be done or develop an idea in a direction that can be done even better.

As of now I simply will not be engaging with the process, I just don't work that way, so peoples positive input will be squandered

Please just give me the space, and then we can do things.
